Dissertation: The Baroness of Have-Nothing and Other Haunting Tales, an autohistoriographic dissertation including topics of autobiography, German family history, and transgenerational trauma.

Research Interests: Comics, Graphic Medicine, German Literature, memory theory, trauma theory, transnational feminisms and human rights.
